Adult Mental Health Services brochure. The Adult Community Mental Health Service operates a number of community teams around the State. We offer a free, confidential service to people aged between 18 and 65 years who have a severe and complex mental health problem. Adult Community Mental Health Services work with service users within a model of care that aids recovery and enables them to return to their full potential in day to day life. The AMHS Older Adult Services Program (OAS) provides intensive mental health and/or nursing case management to elderly individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
